On the Cardinals Relievers

So, I'm sitting here thinking, "Man, that bullpen is absolutely terrible day in and day out."

And as it turns out, I'm only kinda right.

The Cardinals' relievers have the following stats and rankings:
Relief ERA: 2.96 (6th NL)
Inherited runs scored:
Saves: 8 (tied 9th NL)
SVO: 16 (1st NL)
BS: 8 (Worst NL)
SVPCT: 50% (T-14th NL)
L: 8 (Worst NL)
Innings: 91.1 (6th NL)
BAA: .253 (13th NL)
OPS: .724 (14th NL)
TB: 140 (2nd-Worst NL)
WHIP: 1.38 (11th NL).
2B: 22 (worst NL)
3B: 4 (Tied worst NL)

So the pitchers' ERA isn't that bad. It looks to me like the problem is one of coming in with men on base and giving up hard hits and walks. The defense is getting outs in the end, but it's too late. And if the starting pitchers are leaving with scores tied or just one run up, the bullpen simply can't help the team.
